We found this place online and the grinds did not disappoint. My wife had the kalbi ribs and I had the shoyu chicken & chicken katsu, sooo ono (delicious)! Came with 2 scoops rice and mac salad. I said "howzit" when I ordered and Jeremiah the owner recognized I has fm Hawaii, felt like Ohana! He gave us complimentary drinks too! Place is easy to find with lots of parking access the street. A taste of Hawaii away from home. Mahalo Jeremiah and crew! Jourdan & Gayle

We came in after a short hike and were blown away. The food was so fresh and delicious. We had the ahi tuna plate that was prepared perfectly and the chicken Katsu specially plate which was wonderfully crispy and flavorful. We wish we were staying close enough to come back and try more. Definitely would recommend.

Great food. Rice was cooked well and seasoned perfectly. The sauce on top of the crispy chicken was great after a hike. Service was also nice. Cute outside dining area where we sat.

Great place to eat in Cherokee!! We've never tried Hawaiian food before, as we stopped to look at the menu outside the restaurant. Customers sitting outside told us how good it was. So we went in. We started a conversation with the lady taking our order and found out she (along with her family) were the owners. Super sweet and friendly people!! Inside the restaurant is small, but there are tables outside, (covered area). It was a B-E-A-UTIFUL day out so we enjoyed our meal outside. After looking at the menu, I really wanted to try everything. So I ordered the combo plate. You get to choose 2 entrees!! It's also served with rice and mac. For the 2 meats, I got the hurricane chicken and the kalua pork. WOWZERS!!! My taste buds enjoyed every bite. The sauce, the seasoning, so good. The rice is good, the Mac is Mac salad and it was delicious!! My wife got the Eddie burger and she loved it. There was one thing my wife wants to go back and get. I think (not 100% certain) they called it Hawaiian sushi. It was not on the menu, that we saw. It's a seaweed wrap with spam and rice. You may think, that can't be good, but let me tell you. Oh my!!! So different, but sooo good! We will definitely go back, there are many more entrees I want to try, and my wife wants some more Hawaiian sushi . Check them out, I think you will really enjoy it! Friendly, Clean, Great Tasting Food, Covered Outside Seating, Cool and Cozy indoor seating.

What delicious food! I am so glad we did not miss this place! We tried four dishes and all were moist, packed with flavor and complex. The tuna katsu was some of the best tuna I have had and the pulled pork sandwich was a fav. Loved the macaroni salad as well…great portions! The owner was super friendly and AJ and Keisha sure knew what they were doing! You could see how fresh everything was as they were prepping and people were coming and going with orders. Thank you for a great experience!

This establishment is extremely clean -- including the bathroom. I would complain about the air freshener smell in the bathroom -- after only a couple minutes in there I had a raging headache so definitely avoid if you are sensitive to artificial smells! Food wise, extremely delicious! We got the combo plate which came with pork and hurricane chicken, 2 scoops of rice, and one scoop of mac. I do wish they had included more rice but that's because I thought the hurricane chicken was very spicy. The chicken was immensely flavorful and the pork was cooked to perfection! (Imagine pulled pork minus BBQ). The mac was the best I have ever had!! It's basically pasta salad but 100x better (I don't like pasta salad usually!) They don't have cups of water for free/ sale, just bottled beverages. Cutlery is plastic and plates are sturdy paper. Seating is ample for the space and includes a couple tables outside. We are already planning on coming back next time we are in town, and I wish I could bring my parents since they lived in Hawaii for a few years! Total cost was $22 and filled up my bottomless husband and my pregnant and breastfeeding self!

First impression walking in, nice clean facility. Staff were friendly and explained dishes when we had questions. And then... the food. Effing delicious! We had the Hurricane Chicken, phenomenal. Kuala Pork was holy tender, juicy, smokey and incredible! Definitely going to visit here again if we make it back to Cherokee. Thank you for the wonderful food!
